The art of painting is a silent language which conveys a message from the creator to the on-looker using different wave lengths of light rays. In music, it is done by using different wavelengths of sounds. Each artist conveys his message through his own style which depends on his personality, thoughts, vision, approach to a subject and so on. At the same time, the receiver's interpretation of this message will depend upon his personality, vision and so on. Thus, a chord of intimacy is established between the on-looker and the art, the former, perhaps thinking quite differently from the creator though.

The journey through a painting starts with its caption which is the doorstep leading to it by the artist. Somewhere on the way he will leave you alone giving you an opportunity to guide your own journey, traversing the different paths available in front of you. Each way leads you to different worlds of thoughts, visions etc...You may select any and roam in your own world..

Albert Einstein said, "Energy can neither be created nor be destroyed." It can transform from one form to another. This principle is applicable in the world of creative arts as well. A picture is a type of energy. Similarly are music, creative writing and poetry. So a person can't create anything from nothing. He needs some energy within him to transform to another. He acquires this energy from the vision he receives, the sounds he hears etc. Music and reading are my sources of energy. I receive energy from them and transform that energy in the form of my paintings. It does not mean that I am directly transforming the music or the books I read into pictures. These pictures don't have any direct relation with the subject of that music or writings. I receive only the potential energy from them and use that energy to go through different subjects, or a new subject is coming to me due to the persuasion from them.
While seeing my paintings, some viewers murmured to each other. "He has hidden something inside". It is a wrong approach to my paintings. I don't have to hide anything from a viewer. Viewers are too precious to me. They are the companions in my journey. I am an open book to a viewer. Just receive the vision, start your journey, roam in your world, without bothering about the artist's world. I am giving you an atom, you are the person to find the energy inside that.

I like to use the Indian word "Guru" instead of "teacher" because the word "Guru" has a wider meaning. Guru may be anybody who, directly or indirectly, transforms a person for a particular purpose. He is not just the teacher of a subject, he is a transformer for a purpose. While mentioning about my Guru, I would like to tell you that the "Universe" was the first source which put a basic creative energy inside me. There are lots of reasons for me to consider the Universe as my first Guru. In each of my creations, I have felt a silent presence of him. In the coming paragraph, I will explain this more to you.
While seeing a picture, we can ask who the creator is. To answer this, we have to analyze the process of work. What is a picture or a painting? A canvas with a color pattern over it. Does it mean the canvas made the picture?
No... colors formed over a canvas to make a painting. Canvas is only a platform for that painting. Does it mean the color did that painting? No... a brush spread the color over that canvas. Does it, again, mean the brush did it? No... A hand controlled the brush. Does that mean the hand made the painting? No... A brain controlled the hand's movement. Does this mean the brain did that picture? For this question different people may have different answers. If you ask this question to me, I will say "absolutely not". There is an invisible energy passing through a person while he is in creative work. So I am only the reason for that creation.
Next I would like to mention the names of Guru Osho and Guru Nithya Chayithanya Yathi, Even though I haven't met them in person, through their books they have washed my inner soul and have guided me to approach the subjects from different angles. They took me to new dimensions of thought and vision. This provided me beautiful subjects for my paintings. Thus, they are also my Gurus.
Next I would like to mention Dr. Himadri Ghosh, Textile designer (Ex Director NID Ahmedabad) and artist from Tagore's Shantiniketan, who gave me the basic training in paintings.
Even though lots of seats are there to sit, somebody won't sit.....somebody won't sit.... For them universe use some living objects, or objects which don't have physical appearance of life, to make them sit in that seat. Here I like to mention those unknown objects, which pulled me towards the area of arts also in the position of my 'guru'

Each person has a creative energy inside him. It may be in different areas of work. In each man's life, universe has its own purpose. Work is a form of universal energy. A person who does that work is only the reason for that work. So in a creative work, a person's main duty is to allow the universal energy to flow through him, and be a person devoted to the universe. This method is applicable for a person who is working not only in creative arts, but also in other areas of work. You may be a farmer, a doctor, an engineer, a clerk, an advocate, a teacher, or a head load worker. Whatever you are; this method is applicable for you. While a person approaches you for your assistance in his work, receive him as a person sent by the universe to receive your assistance. Be faithful in your work. If you are getting remuneration for that work, receive it as a gift from the universe. An approach like this is enough for a person to become a man who has devoted himself to the universe. If you train yourself in this way, you will feel the flow of creative energy inside you. Universal energy will start passing through you. If that universal power is with us, there is nothing that we can't do... Or else, there is nothing that we can do...
